Toronto’s Liberty Village neighborhood is a mix of historical and contemporary architecture. There are restored industrial buildings with soaring ceilings, huge windows and exposed bricks. To make the place more modern, many developers has converted some historical buildings into new concrete and glass condo towers. You can do many things in this neighbourhood but the best things are to eat/drink, shop, and watch.

Eat/Drink
Liberty Village, has a number of highly rated restaurants with a variety of cuisines and craft beer bars. Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is committed to provide locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and simply and sumptuously prepared delicious food. Williams Landing’s trendy and stylish decor is welcoming to everyone. Customers are amazed by the stunning view from the second story patio. Irish-themed pub Brazen Head features classic Irish food, a comfortable bar stool, a stately dining room with large windows decorated with velvet curtains, and a warm fire place. Another good option is School Restaurant which is popular for their best brunch, amazing patios, and great service. The Craft Brasserie & Grille is a lively gathering place where customers can try a varied menu of freshly prepared foods and Ontario’s best selection of craft beer. The Craft features 120 different craft draughts, with a focus on local microbreweries in Ontario. Eco-conscious Big Rock Brewery also offers good beer on tap and a rotating selection of micro brews. They have a private event space that can be booked for birthdays, wedding parties, business celebrations, etc.

Shop
Liberty Village has gained a reputation as a destination spot for shopping. Organic Garage in Liberty Village offers Canadian organic and all natural grocery store with the best quality organic produce, grocery, meat, vitamins, baked goods, and health and beauty products at the lowest prices possible so you can enjoy healthier food for less. Balzac’s Coffee Roasters is an artisanal coffee roasting company selling different kinds of coffee beans, cold brew in a can, chocolates, and things like coasters, mugs, postcards, posters, and apparel. Smitten Kitten offer a wide range of gifts and modern paper goods like greeting cards. Smitten Kitten opened I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU- a gift shop, a gallery, a design studio and a sweat shop rolled into one. Guests are welcome to spend time and interact with both the products and the people who work here.

Watch
If you’re a fan of Toronto FC, Canada’s first major league soccer team, or the Toronto Argonauts, you can watch them play at BMO Field, Canada’s first soccer-specific stadium. Seeing your favorite players in person is an experience worth having.

You can also have a free movie night in Liberty Village Park. Free movies help bring communities together, encourage people to get outdoors, and meet their neighbours. It also helps provide some free summer activities to partake in. There’s usually a pre-show included with giveaways so it’s recommended to arrive early so you can join the pre-show activities.
